These packages contain Moodle plus all the other software needed to make it run: Apache, MySQL and PHP.

The downloads were built by Ralf Krause using the distributions of MAMP and XAMPP. It is almost trivial to install with a nice little control application. Also, they include all the CVS directories, and a special CVS update script, so it's easy to update your Moodle scripts without needing to download the whole package again and without reinstalling all your courses. Moodle4Mac works with Mac OS X 10.4, 10.5 and 10.6.

Moodle4Mac is designed for developing and testing locally on an Apple computer. You need to make it more secure if you will open Moodle4Mac for an intranet or for the internet. Please remember this fact!

NEW - Moodle4Mac and XAMPP 1.7.2a!
This new Moodle4Mac now comes with XAMPP 1.7.2a for Mac OS X works with Intel and PPC processors and runs with Mac OS X 10.4, 10.5 and 10.6 ... yes, we tested it already with 10.6 Snow Leopard :-). NEW - Moodle4Mac and MAMP 1.8.2!
The new version MAMP 1.8.1 works with Mac OS X 10.4, 10.5 and 10.6. The package is an Universal Binary which can be used with Intel and PPC processors. The most important thing for the change was the fact that the old MAMP comes with an old PHP version but Moodle 2.0 requires a better one. Sorry but the packages are rather big!
