There are currently a total of 73 language packs.

These zip files are generated daily from the latest files checked into Moodle's CVS archive, and may be incomplete translations. The date beside each one shows when they were last updated.

To install these languages into Moodle 1.5 or older, download the zip file to your moodle/lang directory and unzip it there. In Moodle 1.5 you may also put these into the dataroot/lang directory. Don't install these language packs in Moodle 1.6 installations running in UTF-8 mode i.e. all new Moodle 1.6 installations and installations where the dbmigration script has run.

You may install Moodle 1.6 languages directly from the admin/lang menu in your Moodle installation or download them from Moodle 1.6 UTF-8 language packs.
